This Refund Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions and should be read together with them. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in the Terms.
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law. Where your local law gives you stronger rights than this Policy, those rights apply. In particular, this Policy never overrides your statutory EU/UK withdrawal rights described in section 3.
All products sold on AeroTech Academy are one-off purchases in USD that grant perpetual access. There are no subscriptions, no auto-renewal, and no trials — you are never charged again after your purchase.
1. Summary
| Situation | Outcome |

| You request a refund within 30 days of purchase, and have completed 20% or less of the purchased course's lessons and have not attempted a practice exam | Money-back guarantee refund, normally granted (section 4) |
| You request a refund within 30 days but have completed more than 20% of the course's lessons or attempted a practice exam | Reviewed manually at our reasonable discretion (section 4); your EU/UK statutory withdrawal right under section 3 still applies in full regardless |

| Enterprise seat licence already issued | Not refundable, except where statutory rights apply (section 6) |
| Refund abuse, fraud, or account or content misuse | Refused (section 8) |
2. Who processes your refund
2.1 Paddle.com Market Limited is the merchant of record and the seller for your transaction. All refunds are issued and administered by Paddle, under the Paddle Buyer Terms and Conditions (https://www.paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms) and the Paddle Refund Policy (https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy).
2.2 AeroTech Academy is the supplier of the Content. We set the commercial refund terms in this Policy, assess requests against it, and instruct Paddle to issue qualifying refunds.
2.3 To request a refund:
- Contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL] with your order reference and the reason for your request; or
- Contact Paddle directly at https://paddle.net, or via the link in the order confirmation email Paddle sent you.
2.4 Paddle may also issue a refund on its own initiative, for example where it identifies fraud, an erroneous transaction, or a legal requirement.
3. Statutory withdrawal rights: EU, EEA and UK consumers
3.1 If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have 14 days from the date of purchase to withdraw from your purchase, without giving a reason.
3.2 At checkout we do not ask you to consent to immediate supply or to waive this withdrawal right. As a result, your 14-day withdrawal right applies in full, even if you have already accessed the Content.
3.3 How to withdraw. Tell us or Paddle clearly before the deadline, by emailing [SUPPORT EMAIL] or submitting a request at https://paddle.net. You do not need to give a reason. Refunds due on withdrawal are made within 14 days of us being informed, using the same payment method you used.
4. Our 30-day money-back guarantee
4.1 In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all purchases.
4.2 If you request a refund within 30 days of purchase, and you have completed 20% or less of the lessons in the purchased course and have not attempted a practice exam, your refund will normally be granted.
4.3 If you request a refund within the 30-day window but have completed more than 20% of the lessons, or have attempted a practice exam, we will still consider your request. This assessment is manual and applied at our reasonable discretion — we look at genuine reasons for the request, such as buying the wrong product, technical problems, or a good-faith attempt to evaluate the course. This threshold is a guide for our discretionary review, not an absolute bar, and it never overrides your statutory EU/UK withdrawal rights under section 3.
4.4 Granting a refund outside these guidelines does not create an obligation to grant future requests. This guarantee does not apply where account or content misuse has been identified (section 8).
4.5 Where a refund is granted, your licence and course access end immediately.
5. Faulty, inaccessible or misdescribed Content
5.1 If Content does not work as it should, does not match its description, or is inaccessible because of a fault on our side, you have statutory rights — under Directive (EU) 2019/770 as implemented in your country, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in the United Kingdom, or under the equivalent law where you live.
5.2 Please contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] first. Most problems — playback errors, sign-in failures, device-limit lockouts — are fixable quickly. Give us your account email, order reference, device and browser, and a description or screenshot.
5.3 If we cannot bring the Content into conformity within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you are entitled to an appropriate price reduction or to terminate and receive a refund, proportionate to the seriousness of the problem.
5.4 The following are not faults for these purposes: your device, browser or internet connection not meeting the stated requirements; a change to a regulatory syllabus after purchase; disagreement with an editorial or pedagogical choice; or not passing a practice exam.
5.5 Content errors. If you find a factual error in Content, please report it to [SUPPORT EMAIL]. We correct confirmed errors. An isolated error is normally remedied by correction rather than refund; a systematic failure of a course to cover what it was described as covering may justify a refund under 5.3.
6. Enterprise purchases
6.1 Enterprise purchases are business-to-business. Statutory consumer withdrawal rights do not apply.
6.2 Enterprise seat licences are non-refundable once the licence has been issued, except where statutory rights apply.
6.3 No refund is given for seats that go unused during the term, for early termination by the enterprise customer, or for a reduction in headcount.
6.4 Enterprise refund requests go to [SUPPORT EMAIL].
7. Refund process, timing and amounts
7.1 How to request. Email [SUPPORT EMAIL] with your account email, Paddle order reference, product name and the reason for the request, or submit directly to Paddle at https://paddle.net.
7.2 Our review. We aim to review your request promptly and will tell you the outcome and the reason.
7.3 Payment. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method. Paddle typically processes refunds within a few business days, and your bank or card issuer may take further time to show the credit. Statutory refunds under section 3 are made within 14 days of us being informed of your withdrawal.
7.4 Amount. The amount you receive may differ slightly from the amount you paid because of recalculation of transaction taxes at the time of refund, exchange-rate movement, or conversion or handling fees applied by your bank or card issuer. These arise from payment and tax systems outside our control.
7.5 Effect on access. When a refund is issued, your licence terminates immediately and your course access and entitlements are revoked. This is automated: Paddle's refund webhook immediately updates your account to remove access. Any completion record issued for the refunded product is void.
8. Refund abuse and fraud prevention
8.1 Our money-back guarantee in section 4 depends on good faith. We may decline a discretionary refund, and Paddle may decline any refund, where there is evidence of:
- completing or substantially consuming Content and then requesting a refund;
- repeated purchase-and-refund cycles across products or accounts;
- creating multiple accounts to reuse free or introductory access;
- sharing credentials or reselling access;
- inconsistent or false statements in support of a request; or
- payment fraud, stolen payment instruments or identity misuse.
8.2 Where abuse is identified, we may decline the request, terminate the account and licence without refund, and decline future purchases.
8.3 Nothing in this section affects a consumer's statutory rights or the right to raise a genuine dispute about an unauthorised transaction.
9. Chargebacks
9.1 Please contact us or Paddle before raising a chargeback. Most disputes are resolved faster and more completely that way, and a chargeback usually results in immediate loss of access.
9.2 Where a chargeback is raised, we may suspend the account and licence pending resolution, and may keep access suspended until the disputed amount and any chargeback fee properly incurred are settled.
9.3 We may provide Paddle, payment providers and card schemes with transaction and access records to respond to a dispute.
9.4 Raising a chargeback in bad faith — for example after substantially consuming Content, or after a refund has already been offered or issued — is a breach of the Terms.
9.5 This section does not affect your right to dispute a genuinely unauthorised or fraudulent transaction.
